Thrilling Thursdays: July 7 - Critters & Creation Care
July 7 - Critters and Creation Care
Have you ever held a snake? What are donkeys really like? Do you want to meet a Flemish Giant Rabbit? We are excited to welcome Curious Critters to our camp! Touch and hold exotic creatures and learn about their features. The morning will be spent with Ecologist and Biologist Casai and her critters. We will learn all about our four-footed (and no-footed) visitors from an expert, with a look into their habitats, ecosystems and survival strategies.

In the afternoon we will did deeper into habitats and pollution, and our calling to care for God's creation. Then we'll spend the afternoon running experiments and to learn how weather impacts habitats. I am especially excited to build our own barometer to measure air pressure and discover how this can be used to predict the weather.

Did you know that Jesus often used weather, animals and farming to teach lessons about God and his Kingdom? We will have wonderful opportunities to ponder the many things we can learn from animals and weather to deepen our faith and understanding of God's love.
Join us for an exciting day of critters and creation care!
