Talk about these questions:
- God wanted to wash the world of all the hurt and sadness. God tells Noah to build a boat in the middle of the desert. What did Noah do, even when people laughed at him and told him he was crazy?
- After the flood, what did God promise Noah about the flood? What did God hang in the sky to remind Noah about this promise? The sign of the rainbow reminds us that God ALWAYS keeps his promises.
Going Deeper with Older Kids...
Read in the Bible: Genesis 6-9
Read in the Bible: Genesis 6-9
- What was the first thing Noah did when they left the ark?
- What does this remind us to do in every situation? (1 Thessalonians 5:18)
- Was God surprised when things wend wrong again, after the flood?
- The rainbow reminds us that God always keeps his promises. What other promises has God made that we know he will keep?
